Thank you for looking further into Indelible!

I brought my son to a cemetery on a whim while driving, telling him that my great grandmother was buried there. While searching for the nearly forgotten grave my mother had once shown me, we stumbled across my great grandmother, his great great! With the help of internet searches, going through census records and such, we uncovered a story. Piecing together the information on tombstones and in the records, a story – a personal, family story of how we arrived at that moment, began coming into focus. Loss of children, parents, siblings, struggles and immigration, clues of lifestyle and more – my son and I spent quite a long time there, marveling at our family tree and the history they wrote, which was our history! We were related to so many others with different last names, and suddenly the world became smaller and smaller. I realized we had more family than we initially knew.

Shortly after, I had an emotional prayer before bed, followed by a dream. When I woke, I saw the Indelible mark, and how it could bless families, and hopefully pull us all a little closer together.
